Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak yesterday launch a new program called MyHome, which is enable qualified Malaysian able to get government subsidy up to RM 30,000 to buy selected low cost houses.
Prime minister said for this year, government allocated RM 300 million under this scheme and targeted to subsidized 10,000 unit low cost houses. Prime Minister said that applicant must have monthly salary lower than RM3000 and never owned house before. Buyer also subjected to 10 year restriction from selling this type houses.
Prime Minister also said government soon plan to have MyHome Exchange, a comprehensive database on housing sector.
