It's should be a very good news for Johor's civil servants. Yesteday Johor's Menteri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin said Johor Civil Servant can enjoy zero interest rate on their housing loans starting from 1 March 2014.
If I'm not mistaken, Johor will be the first state in Malaysia which offer this type benefit to government servants. Johor have a closed civil service whereby civil servant employed by cannot transferred out of the state.
Menteri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled added that government servant in Johor will see new after adjustment balance in their pay slip from April or May onward.
I believe this will ease the people burden and will increase their carry back home salary.
